The idea of luxury accommodation in a historic building in the center of Porto became a reality.

In our Torel 1884 Suites & Apartments, we offer you twelve luxury rooms and suites in our former palace, on Rua de Mouzinho de Silveira, about five minutes walking from Avenida dos Aliados and four minutes walking from Ribeira do Porto, two landmarks of the city.

You can also choose one of our eleven exclusive apartments, based on Rua das Flores, the main pedestrian street in downtown Porto and a five-minute walk from our palace.

THE CONCEPT:

A DISCOVERY JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD

The theme of Torel 1884 Suites & Apartments is Portuguese and exotic discoveries, such as materials and animals that Portuguese explorers found and brought back from their voyages to distant lands. That's why each of our 23 rooms, suites and apartments is named after one of them, such as porcelain, tea, and exotic birds. The idea was to reproduce its origin, through colors, materials, and works of art, making each of the rooms unique.

Beautiful one-bedroom apartment overlooking Rua de Flores, a bustling pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. The apartment was in a prime location, yet extremely quiet when the windows were closed. The staff is all lovely, helpful and professional.
